MR. JONE SOVALAWA

Mr. Sovalawa oversees the overall operation of the Agricultural Marketing Authority (AMA). He has a strong collaborative and interpersonal skills. He is a former Banker with the Fiji Development Bank of over 22 years. Sovalawa’s experience spans from lending, auditing, policy, innovation, enterprise risk, customer relationship and sales. He also worked with the Ministry of Agriculture as Principal Economic Officer (Policy) Chief Economist, Director Extension Services and a former Deputy Secretary Agriculture Development. He was the Chairman of AMA in 2018-2019. Currently he is a Board member of the Rewa Provincial Council Holdings Ltd (RPHCL) and the Navuso Agricultural Training Institute (NATI).
